Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min announced on Saturday that he will be leaving the club after 10 years despite being under contract till 2026.
The South Korean joined the North London club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and led the side to its first trophy in 17 years, after beating Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final in May.
The 33-year-old will finish his spell at Spurs as the fourth-highest scorer for the club with 173 goals. Only Harry Kane (280), Jimmy Greaves (260) and Bobby Smith (211) have scored more for the club.
The forward has scored 127 in the Premier League, 19 in domestic cup competitions and 27 in European tournaments. Son’s 454 appearances are also the seventh-highest for any Spurs player in history. Steve Perryman leads the list with 866 club appearances.

The South Korean leads the list for most Premier League assists for the North London club with 71, ahead of Darren Anderton (66) and Christian Eriksen (59).
In the victorious Europa League campaign, Son played 10 games and scored three goals while providing a solitary assist, handing Spurs its first title since the League Cup under Juande Ramos in 2008.
