Porto legend Jorge Costa dead at 53 after heart attack

Jorge Costa, FC Porto legend and current sporting director of the club, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at 53 due to a cardiac arrest, the club confirmed.

Known as the “Beast,” Costa played 383 matches with Porto, lifting the UEFA Cup in 2003, the Champions League in 2004, and 8 league titles with the club.

He also made 50 appearances for the Portuguese national team, scoring two goals.
