Barcelona Legends announced that it will face Real Madrid Legends in Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 27, with the club confirming appearances by Carles Puyol and Rivaldo.
The match will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, with a capacity of over 77,000 spectators. It is the venue that hosted the 18th Asian Games in 2018 and regularly serves as the home ground for Indonesia’s national football team.
The Barca Legends, coached by Albert Ferrer, will reveal the rest of its squad in the coming weeks.
The match in Jakarta will be the tenth meeting in history between the two teams and will take place just a few days after their double showdown in New Jersey and Florida, scheduled for 9 and 13 September, respectively.
