Crystal Palace became the latest side to win the Community Shield after it defeated Premier League champions Liverpool in the 2025 final.
Palace secured the title after a penalty shoot-out that finishes 3-2 in its favour. The match finished 2-2 after 90 minutes, with Jean-Phillipe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr scoring to cancel out debut goals from Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong.
