Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly was appointed head coach of SA20 franchise Pretoria Capitals on Sunday.
“The Prince is all set to bring a royal flair to the Capitals camp! We are ecstatic to announce Sourav Ganguly as our new Head Coach,” the team wrote in a post on social media platform Instagram.
Ganguly replaces former England batter Jonathan Trott in the role as he begins his first stint as full-time coach of any professional team. He has previously served as an advisor to and team director of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Capitals.
