Indian opening batter KL Rahul scored a masterful hundred for India A in its 412-run chase against Australia in the second unofficial Test in Lucknow on Friday.
Rahul got to his century off his 136th ball, with a four against Corey Rocchiccioli, his 12th boundary of his innings.
On Friday, the 33-year-old had retired hurt while he was batting on 74. But, Rahul returned to the crease early in the opening session of the final day and continue on with his knock.
This is Rahul’s 22nd First-Class hundred and comes on the back of a solid performance during the five-Test series in England, where he aggregated 532 runs at an average of 53.20, smashing two tons.
In the first innings, Rahul could manage just 24-ball 11 before being caught behind off Will Sutherland.
