Shreyas Iyer marked his return to the India A side with a blistering 75-ball century against Australia A in the 1st unofficial ODI at the Green Park Stadium, Kanpur on Wednesday.
Captaining the side and batting at 3, Shreyas walked in after a blistering start from openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. He received an early slice of luck as he was put down by wicketkeeper Lachlan Shaw off the bowling of Tanveer Sangha, but cashed in on his opportunity.

His knock included 11 fours and four sixes, as he completed his half-century from 50 balls. He then continued his impressive form, reaching his century from 75 balls against the bowling of Sam Elliott.
The first unofficial ODI of India A and Australia A’s three-match series was initially supposed to take place on Tuesday, but was rescheduled to Wednesday due to rain.
Shreyas will lead India A in all three matches after he opted to take a break from red-ball cricket in order to manage a back injury.
