Namibia stuns South Africa in one-off T20I, beats Proteas by four wickets

South Africa-born Ruben Trumpelmann became Namibia’s hero as it stunned the Proteas in their one-off T20I at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek, Namibia on Saturday.

The left-arm seamer dismantled South Africa’s middle-order with authority, dismissing Reeza Hendricks, Rubin Hermann and Jason Smith, and remained unbeaten on the crease at 11 as Namibia secured the historic win off the last ball.

Earlier, South Africa elected to bat first after winning the toss but failed to gather early momentum, with Quinton de Kock falling for one off Gerhard Erasmus.

More to follow.
