India vs West Indies LIVE score Day 3: IND looking for early wickets; WI trails by 378 runs

Hello, and welcome to Sportstar’s coverage of Day 3 of the second Test between India and West Indies in New Delhi!

India once again finds itself in a thoroughly commanding position after two days of dominant Test cricket. Powered by centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, India posted 518/5 before declaring yesterday, before Ravindra Jadeja did what he does best as India took four West Indies wickets with the ball.

The small crumb of hope for West Indies is that it gave its best account of itself so far with the bat yesterday, and Shai Hope and Tevin Imlach batted nicely to see it to the close of play yesterday. It is still 378 runs behind, but it will hope to put up a fight, perhaps by avoiding the follow-on first.
