Abhishek Sharma notched up his first fifty of this Asia Cup and stitched a 105-run opening-wicket partnership with Shubman Gill which laid the foundation for India’s 172-run chase.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led side jumped to the top of the Super Fours standings with the comprehensive victory. It faces Bangladesh next on Wednesday.
