Montenegrin club FK Arsenal Tivat had its ban from UEFA club competitions reduced to seven years from 10 and its fine cut from 500,000 euros ($586,750) to 400,000, on Wednesday, after the club appealed against match-fixing charges.
UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) amended its July decision, which had imposed a longer ban after an investigation into allegations of match-fixing during its Conference League qualifying tie with Alashkert FC in July 2023.
Arsenal Tivat goalkeeper Dusan Puletic’s 10-year suspension has also been annulled. In July, Tivat player Nikola Celebic and official Ranko Krgovic were also given lifetime bans by the CEDB.
