Lionel Messi scored twice and assisted once as Inter Miami beat New York City FC 4-0 in their Major League Soccer match at Citi Field stadium on Thursday.
The win helped Miami climb to third in the Eastern Conference standings with 55 points and book a spot in the playoffs.
Messi was involved in the opening goal, setting up Baltasar Rodríguez for a shot with a lovely through ball. His first of the night came in the second half after running onto a defence-splitting pass from Sergio Busquets, before chipping it over the goalkeeper.
Twelve minutes later, he produced another moment of magic, easily dribbling into the box before tidily finishing into the bottom left corner.
