India international Shafali Verma’s century powered Haryana to a 70-run win over Himachal Pradesh on the third day of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025 on Saturday.
The opener scored a 61-ball 107, helping Haryana post a competitive total of 188 for three. Triveni Vasistha, Amandeep Kaur and Sonia Mendhiya picked two wickets apiece to restrict HP to 118 for seven in 20 overs.
Meanwhile, defending champion Mumbai suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Vidarbha. After opting to bat, Mumbai’s batters fell at quick intervals to a clinical Vidarbha bowling line-up. Disha Kasat’s unbeaten 71 off 57 proved enough for Vidarbha to chase the 124-run target with ease.
Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Karnataka remain the only unbeaten sides in the tournament so far.
