Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025: Disha Kasat’s unbeaten 88 powers Vidarbha; Shafali Verma stars with bat and ball for Haryana

Disha Kasat’s unbeaten 37-ball 88 helped Vidarbha register a 10-wicket win against Bihar in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Wednesday.

Bihar folded for 93, with captain Pragati Singh topscoring with a 37-ball 39. Vidarbha chased down the score in just 7.3 overs.

In Gwalior, Haryana beat Andhra by eight wickets, with key performances by Deeya Yadav (59 off 47 balls) and Shafali Verma (42 off 30 balls). Andhra posted 147/7 thanks to contributions from captain Sabhineni Meghana (33 off 19), Henrietta Pereira (36 off 39) and B Anusha (34 off 33). Suman Gulia was the pick of the bowlers for Haryana taking four key scalps, aided well by Shafali who claimed two wickets.

In Nagpur, Tejal Hasabnis’ 44-ball 63 helped Maharashtra post 133/6 in 20 overs against Bengal. Ishita Khale’s four-wicket haul left Bengal in a spot of bother. A late resurgence from number nine batter Sushmita Ganguly (11-ball 30) gave the side hope, but it eventually fell three runs short.
