Manchester United on Friday agreed a deal to sign Brentford midfielder Bryan Mbeumo, according to news reports.
Mbeumo will join the club on a five-year contract, with the option to extend an additional season. The reported transfer fee stands at £65 milliion plus an additional £6 million in add-ons.
The Cameroon international is United’s second signing of this transfer window. The 13-time Premier League champion signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves earlier in the summer.
In 38 appearances in the Premier League last season, Mbeumo netted 20 times and set up another seven. He made 242 appearances for The Bees and registered 70 goals and 51 assists.
