Sreyas V.G scored in added time to find the winner for Indian Navy FT, which beat local side TRAU FC 2-1 in the final Group-F match of Durand Cup 2025 at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal on Tuesday.
The result helped the Indian Navy bag seven points from three matches and claim the top spot in the final group standings, securing a quarterfinal berth in the process.
Looking for its first points of the tournament, TRAU found the break early in the 29th minute through Moirangthem Nelson Singh and preserved the lead till the 87th minute when Pintu Mahata pulled up the equaliser to bring Navy back in the game. Sreyas found the winner in the added time (90+3 minute) to get the sailors ahead of Real Kashmir FC, which finished its campaign with six points.

Bodoland FC secured the remaining knock-out berth with a confident 4-0 win over the Indo-Tibetan Border Police football team (ITBP) in the concluding Group-D match at the SAI Stadium in Kokrajhar.
Bodoland tallied full nine points from three successive wins to become the best in the group.
The two qualifiers were joined by the other four group winners – Emami East Bengal, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC – and the two best second-placed teams – Shillong Lajong FC (six points, +7 goal difference) and Diamond Harbour FC (six, +4) – to complete the list of quarterfinalists.
The quarterfinal opponents will be finalised by the Durand committee and announced at a later time.
