The reigning English champion Liverpool on Thursday was drawn alongside record 15-time winner Real Madrid and last season’s Serie A runner-up Inter Milan in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2025-26.
The other six teams that Arne Slot’s side will face are: Atletico Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven, Marseille, Qarabag and Galatasaray.
The six-time European champion Liverpool will welcome Los Blancos at home and visit Inter Milan at San Siro. Among the other fixtures, it will face Atletico, PSV and Qarabag at home.
The dates and timings of the fixtures will be released on Saturday.
Last season, Liverpool was knocked out in the round of 16 by eventual champion Paris-Saint Germain. The two sides were locked 1-1 after both the legs and needed a penalty shootout to break the tie, where PSG prevailed 4-1.
With the additions of Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong among others, Liverpool goes into the tournament as a favourite.
