Another summer transfer window has come to an end, and as expected, we have the big guns splash top money to strengthen their squad for the season ahead.
It is not surprising to see the Premier League lead the charts when it comes to most money spent, with England’s top league spending significantly more than the four other top leagues of Europe – La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
Overall, the 2025 summer window is the highest-spending single transfer window in history, surpassing the €8.85 billion spent during the 2023/24 season.
