Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves revealed a tattoo as a tribute to the late Diogo Jota ahead of the nationโs FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Hungary.
The homage comes after Jota and his brother Andre Silva tragically lost their lives in a car crash in July in northwestern Spain.
Last week, Portugalย head coach Roberto Martinez announced a โ23 plus oneโ-member squad for the upcoming matches. Martinez said that an extra spot was left vacant in the squad for Jota.
Additionally, Neves also took over the number 21 jersey which was worn by Jota for the national team.
