Seasoned campaigner Jalaj Saxena will represent Maharashtra in the upcoming domestic season. The all-rounder, who represented Madhya Pradesh and Kerala in the past, had earlier asked the Kerala Cricket Association not to include him for the upcoming season.
On Saturday, the Maharashtra Cricket Association confirmed the development. “It’s a great honour to play alongside Prithvi Shaw, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ankeet Bawne,” Jalaj said.
Saxena was a crucial member of the Kerala side that reached the final last season. He enjoyed a prolific campaign, claiming 40 wickets in 10 games at an average of 22 which included five five-wicket haul.
